Regener-Eyes: What’s in the bottle?
Regener-Eyes does not list active or inactive ingredients on its website, product packaging or insert. (For clarity, Regener-Eyes package insert states that the ingredients are “Sterile ophthalmic solution” and “sterile water”.
Regener-Eyes’ website indicates that it contains “placental proteins”. UPDATE AUGUST 2022: Regener-Eyes has removed this language from its website and now says that its ingredients are “Proprietary”. This may change again, so it may say something else when you view the website.
In an email communication to a member of the Dry Eye Foundation board, Regener-Eyes stated that Regener-Eyes contains placental proteins, purified water and no other ingredients.
On DailyMed, there are product listings for Regener-Eyes as OTC Monograph products containing glycerin (active ingredient) and, as inactives, d-MAPPS™ and 0.9% Sodium Chloride USP. d-MAPPS is the manufacturer’s acronym for the placenta extract. The DailyMed labeling is completely different from the labeling in commercial distribution.

StimulEyes indicates on its website that it contains amniotic fluid.
The manufacturer stated to a member of the Dry Eye Foundation board that it contains amniotic fluid and normal saline.
